This Adenia viridiflora is rarely found in the trade and therefore a sought-after rarity among collectors. Since it belongs to the Passionflower genus (Passifloraceae), it forms the striking flowers of this genus. However, the Adenia captivates not only with its flowers, but also with its pretty, ivy-like foliage that grows in entwined tendrils from its caudex.
The product photos show examples of the plant. You will receive a specimen that matches the product photos in size, shape and coloring.

- For the bulb to sprout, it can be kept moderately moist in succulent soil, afterwards water more sparingly!
- Location / light requirements: bright, but avoid direct sunlight.
- Substrate: succulent substrate
- Temperature: optimal at 23-28° C, do not let cool down below 15° C
- Watering: water moderately with lukewarm, low-calcium water about 1-2 times a week during the growing season, in winter no more than once a month
- Humidity: moderately high humidity, avoid heating air, spray occasionally
- Nutrient addition: in the growth phase, fertilize weakly with diluted succulent fertilizer every 4-6 weeks.
- Repot when the soil is heavily rooted.
- Discards foliage in winter and must survive as a bulb. Then water sparingly every 4 weeks at most.
